Frequently asked questions
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Byrna Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account, so it's managed in your iOS settings, not inside the app:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Byrna, then change or cancel your plan.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Premium until then. If you cancel during a free trial, make sure to do it at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers can start with a free trial. You won't be charged during the trial, and it converts to a paid subscription automatically when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand (see the steps above). You can see your trial's end date in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
I already paid — how do I restore my subscription?
Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. If you reinstall Byrna or switch to a new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID and use Restore Purchases in the app's settings to bring your Premium access back. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID you originally purchased with.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, in Settings. Most of your data (workouts and health entries) is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account; deleting the app and removing its iCloud data also removes that information. If you'd like help, email us at buckaiden40@gmail.com.
Is the Daily Devotional free?
Yes. The Daily Devotional is free for everyone: a verse of the day with a guided study, your own notes, and history. You can choose the study length (short, medium, or long) when you first open it, and change it later in the app's settings.
Is Byrna a substitute for medical or professional advice?
No. Byrna provides general fitness and self-improvement tools, and its AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate or unsuitable for you. Byrna is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing any exercise or nutrition program, and you assume the risks of any physical activity you choose to undertake.
How do you handle my privacy?
See our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for how your information is stored and used. In short, most of your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud; using an AI feature transmits only the inputs it needs to generate a response.
How do I report a problem or abuse?
Email buckaiden40@gmail.com with details and we'll respond. For objectionable content or abusive behavior in the app's social features, we act on reports within 24 hours where we determine a violation has occurred.
Who can use Byrna?
Byrna is intended for users in the United States who are at least 18 years old.
